Penny’s Puppet Productions is a one-woman puppet company that specializes in puppet shows and storytelling. Penny Walter is a former teacher with a Masters Degree in early childhood education. She was formerly resident puppeteer at the Portland Children’s Museum and has an ongoing relationship with Portland Public Schools and Libraries. Penny performs at birthday parties, festivals, private events, corporate gatherings and fundraisers. Penny’s puppet shows utilize audience participation. The shows stimulate the imagination and install a love of music and language. Penny also teaches classes and workshops in puppetry.
