Things to do with Kids in Tigard
Tigard is a great place to be for families with children. Tigard is close to Portland and all of the city’s family entertainment options, and there are also lots of things for families to do in Tigard without leaving town.
Go to the Park
Tigard has over 300 acres of parks to visit. Parks include play structures, basketball, baseball, softball, football, and soccer fields, tennis courts, picnic shelters, off leash dog areas, walking paths, and undeveloped areas. Parks are a great place for families to get out and play.
Read a Book
The Tigard Library is part of Washington County Cooperative Library Services and allows access to all of the great materials in the member libraries. The library also offers great events and activities for adults, teens, and children.
Race Around a Track
Go Kart racing is a fun activity and SyKart Indoor Racing is the place to go race in Tigard. Children age 8 and over can learn to race and birthday party packages are available.
Be Active and Have Fun
Take the kids to Club Sport, a family friendly fitness center. Adults can get a work out in a world class fitness center while children are entertained with great fitness activities and supervised by childcare experts.
My Gym is a gym set up specifically for children with safe equipment designed just for them. My Gym offers fun classes and childcare evening programs.
Gymboree Play and Music fosters creativity in children with music, art, and sports activities using safe playground equipment.
Children can learn to dance at Fired Up Performing Arts Studio with fun classes in Creative Movement, Pre-Dance, Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap and Tumbling. Classes are offered for ages 2 ½ and up.
Metro Gymnastics teaches gymnastics and cheerleading. Metro Gymnastics also offers after school programs and a ceramic studio.
Give a cheer with West Coast Extreme All-Star Cheerleading, the largest and most competitive cheerleading gym in the Pacific Northwest.
Get in Some Target Practice
Archer’s Afield offers lessons for children and adults to learn to shoot a bow. They host leagues and tournaments and have birthday party packages for children and adults.
Come Play with Us
Inflatable Kingdom is conveniently located in Tigard, just off I-5, and just outside of Lake Oswego and Portland. Kid’s love to come in for Inflatable Kingdom’s Open Play sessions and private parties.
