Fun in the Park is a community get-together with lots of great entertainment for families. Last years entertainment included clowns, face painting, airbrush tattoos, nail painting, balloon artists, a caricaturist, giant bowling and basketball, table games, a bean bag toss, bubbles, hoola hoops, a fishing pond, children’s games and crafts, puppet making, video games, carnival games, model trains, digital photography, dance, coloring books, miniature golf, costumes, rock climbing wall, Steve’s Creature Feature reptile show and petting zoo, bowling, bingo, and more. The main stage also featured a variety of entertainers and musicians, and the fair had lots of vendors and great food. Roving entertainers at last year’s show included: Tim Alexander, Magician; Albert Alter, Clown, Mime; Mark Benthimer, Magician; Charlie Brown, Juggler; Cha Cha the Clown, Regina Wollrabe; Mini Golf Plus, Homer Humelbaugh; Tommy Moore, Yo-Yo-Man; Heather Pearl, Eclectic performer; Al Kader Shrine, Clowns; John Ludlow, Balloon twisting; and Pockets the Clown, Patricia Bunnell, Balloon twisting. Mascots also joined the fun: Ronald McDonald, McDonalds; Good Neighbear, State Farm Insurance; Jay Puppo, Red, Red Robin Restaurant; Jaxson, Portland Lumberjax; and Bullwinkle J. Moose, Family Fun Center.
This year’s Fun in the Park promises to be another exciting event that families will not want to miss. Children who enjoy Inflatable Kingdom’s Open Play and Parties will love playing on the great Inflatables at the park for the day. There is truly something for everyone at the event.
