Inflatable Kingdom; "Party on the Red Carpet!"

Pass it On Consignment Sale

April 17, 2010

Having been unsuccessful last weekend in our quest for the perfect baby walker, My husband, Alex and I decided to try another consignment sale. Saturday morning we stopped at Pass It On consignment sale on Sandy Blvd on our way to a rainy day at the beach with Alex.

The sale had started on Friday, but there was still a lot of stuff on Saturday. There was even a baby walker, but not the one we wanted. There were racks and racks of clothes, there were toys, books, cribs, strollers, baby monitors, and more. We’re pretty well set with Alex, so we just bought a toy and a car window shade to shade the baby during car trips.

Hart’s Reptile World had their reptile exhibit at the sale. We did not go this time, since I went last week and we were anxious to get out of town. Their reptiles are always fun to look at though, and it is a good cause, so I encourage everyone to pay the small admission and take a look around. A face painter was also at the event.

We left the sale and headed on to the beach where it was rainy and windy. Should have gone somewhere indoors like Inflatable Kingdom instead I guess. We felt rather silly when we stopped at the outlet mall to buy Alex a rain jacket since they had them for much cheaper at the consignment sale. At least if we choose to we can always sell the jacket at a consignment sale someday in the future.

Pass It On is a biannual consignment sale that is held each year in the Spring and Fall at a Portland and Hillsboro Locations. The Portland Pass it On Consignment Sale ends today (Sunday, April 18) at 2 pm. The Hillsboro sale is May 20-23. These events offer free admission and free parking, so they are well worth stopping by.
