Regardless the type of party you are planning, there are some basic principles which will help you to build it into a successful event.  At Inflatable Kingdom we have helped with the planning, or planned countless parties, birthdays, special events, and occasions!

1) Set a Date for Your Party - Without having a date/time, it is very hard to figure out all the other details.  Most vendors, event locations, caterers, etc… will want to know what your date is in order to work with you- as In the events industry, availability is everything.

2) Book Your Venue - Deciding an easy to get to location which is central for your guests to get to always helps.  The venue also will help you to determine rental needs, decor requirements, food, and other aspects of the event.  Determining the venues rules, space/shape/size etc… will help you to figure out the various options which are available for your party.

3) Book Your entertainment- Entertainment is a key aspect of your event.  There is no worse thing than to invite a group of people to a party, have  a great turnout- and not have anything for people to do to amuse themselves.

4) Send out the invitations- this is something you need to do after the first three steps- But never before!  Without having your date or venue decided, you will not be able to invite your guests to anything specific.  If you do not book your entertainment first, then there is a chance that your entertainer may not be available- SO ALWAYS BOOK YOUR VENUE AND ENTERTAINMENT BEFORE YOU SEND OUT THE INVITES!!!
