Holiday Light Events around Portland

Dark comes early in the winter, but thankfully holiday lights bring a little cheer to the chilly evenings. While it is fun to just drive or walk around neighborhoods to see the lights, there are also several holiday light shows in the area where amazing light displays can be seen in a concentrated area. Plus the light displays are often accompanied by Holiday music and other entertainment.

Colton Celebration of Lights
December 10-27, 6-11 pm
Take a walk through light displays, a toy land, and a train display, watch holiday movies, and enjoy refreshments.

Grotto Festival of Lights
November 25-December 30, 5-9:30 pm
Light show with holiday concerts, nativity scenes, and more. $8 adults, $4 kids age 3 to 12, free age 2 and under.

Jubitz Winter Wonderland
November 24-December 25, Sunday – Thursday, 5 pm – 9 pm, Friday and Saturday, 5 pm – 11 pm
Light display on the PIR track with animated light displays including flying reindeer, Santa, the twelve days of Christmas, and more. Admission $16 car.

Maddax Woods: Lighting of Maddax Woods

Walk down a lighted path through the woods.

Oregon Zoo Zoolights
November 25-Jan 1 (closed Dec 24-25), 5-8 pm
Take a holiday train ride and see the zoo filled with lights. Admission and train ride: Adults $10.75, Seniors $9.25, Youth (3-11) $7.75, 2 and under free.

Shore Acres State Park Holiday Lights
